April 2008 - Marla Silvestro

Campari is an Italian bitter aperitif known for being an acquired taste. If you like grapefruit and cherries, then this cocktail is for you. So why not sophisticate your palette by trying something different?

Zest tip: Hold the orange firmly; puncture the skin with the tip of the zester and slowly drag with equal and steady pressure. Avoid cutting into the bitter white pith underneath.

1 ½ oz. Campari
1 ½ oz. sweet vermouth
club soda
orange zest
ice

Serve with ice in a large glass and enjoy!
