June 2008 - Marla
Silvestro
Galliano has a sweet spicy herbal taste when taken neat or as a mixed drink ingredient. It’s the national liqueur of Italy after being named in honour of Giuseppe Galliano. As you sip this delicious concoction, close your eyes and imagine taking a leisurely boat ride on the canals of Venice as you watch the sunset. Viva Italia!
1½ oz Galliano
1½ oz Cointreau
orange juice
1 tsp. cream
orange slice
ice
Shake ingredients and ice briskly in a cocktail shaker. Pour into a Collins (tall) glass. Garnish with orange slice.
