2 oz bourbon
mint
1 tsp liquid sugar
Brut champagne or dry sparkling wine
Muddle mint and liquid sugar in a tall glass. Fill the glass two-thirds full with ice. Add bourbon and stir briskly. Add ice-cold champagne or sparkling wine. Stir and garnish with mint. Ahhh!
